Update: Four Formula’s

Here’s an update to the four formula’s is all it takes. Well, the girl approached me again today and said, “Look! I got the first two layers, (F2L.)”

I said “Wow, that’s great congratulations!” The kid that was teaching her brought it to school and everyone played with it.

Later on in Spanish class, my buddy wanted me to teach him an advanced method to solving the 3×3x3 Rubik’s Cube. He was one of my first student’s, and fastest, so reluctantly informed him on my secret swiftness. Being the fastest cubist in the school, of course everyone comes to me for their cubing advice. So this is sort of not uncommon. In fact, over this last week the 3×3x3 Rubik’s Cube has been showing up a lot more.

Anyways, while teaching my friend I asked him what he thought about the girl learning so quickly. He shared my thoughts exactly. He was shocked at how well she was able to pick up the lesson. The only way my buddy learned so quickly, we agreed, is because I taught him a broad first step ahead of time, so there was barely any gap to make the cross and white side.

This is very uncommon in my teachings. So, in the end, I felt a little better that maybe I wasn’t a bad teacher. Maybe.
