Hello, and welcome to our unofficial introduction to the Rubik’s Cube. It was created by Erno Rubik in 1974. Originally it was called a Magic Cube because of its magical befuddling. It has 43 quintillion, (43,000,000,000,000,000,000) possibilities, and only one will leave the cube solved. It was later renamed the Rubik’s Cube after its inventor. In 1980 it received an award for a hard puzzle. With over 250,000,000 sold, it is very successful.

After Will Smith claimed he could solve a Rubik’s Cube in less than two minutes, Oprah challenged him to prove it. As Winfrey cut to commercials, Smith feverishly clicked away and had solved the colorful puzzle when the show returned after the break, leaving the host stunned and impressed. I thought to myself, I need to learn this too. I bought a cube at Target, but have not been able to solve. Hoping to find some help. Any ideas or videos?

I have seen that and I too was very interested in that. To answer your question Barney, yes there will be help to solve the Rubik’s Cube. Tomorrow or possibly tonight there will be a book on sale that will teach you how to solve the Rubik’s Cube. Also, tomorrow there will be videos that can teach you. If you have any questions, please email me.
