Well, I recently tried to complete my cube with only one hand. I know, right, intense! But, it was very difficult and I dropped it a few times and was unable to complete it. There are some guidelines and tips I can say that may help you solve your cube one-handed. If you want.
1.) Big Hands
It will be much easier to complete the cube with bigger hands. I’d say the bigger the better. This way you can grip the cube easier and turn it better. Although, when solving the 4×4x4 Rubik’s Cube or 5×5x5 Rubik’s Cube will be pretty hard no matter what.
2.) Lubricated Cube
A lubricated cube, which means some kind of lubricant has been sprayed inside the central mechanism, will turn easier and faster also.
3.) Practice
I’d say practicing solving the Rubik’s Cube will definitely help you a lot, and also develop your own tricks. Please post and comment here about some you’ve learned
*Editor’s Note: I will be getting into lubricating your cube later on in my blog, so stay tuned and please comment. The more comments the faster I can go!*
