Well, here is a follow up article to my first article about completing the Rubik’s Cube one-handed. I completed the Rubik’s Cube one-handed! Yeah
I used my less durable but faster Rubik’s Cube, lubricated, and completed it. To give some background information on the time and place, I was sitting in the car ready to embark on a long car ride to Indianapolis, along with my friend Ryan, with my Rubik’s Cube in the front pocket arsenal, ready to entertain me. What’s a better way to take up time than an amateur trying to solve a Rubik’s Cube with one hand? Seriously. :)But enough hype, I began tackling the cube like any other one-handed attempt. However, this time I used a finger-flick for each time I moved a piece. The finger-flick, as I like to call it, is using one strong finger, in my case my index finger, to move a piece. Your hand holds the cube as the finger flicks, or turns, one side. It took about 10-20 minutes. I was so elated at the end to accomplish this mighty task. However, my fingers hurt a lot doing it my incorrect amateur way. Believe me, I was happy. But my fingers were not. They started to hurt like cramps because of all of the bending and flicking. So, be prepared for the consequences if you do it my way. Great reward, ouchy consequence. So, that was me completing the 3×3x3 Rubik’s Cube one-handed.
